Genesis PULSE welcomes Champion EMS of Longview, TX as a new customer. Champion EMS operates ground and air medical services across twelve counties in East Texas. Like many Genesis PULSE customers, Champion EMS was in search of an all-in-one solution to supplement their computer-aided dispatch software. They chose PULSE for its decision-support features for dispatch to the Replay and Reporting features for supervisory and administrative personnel and the added benefits of our exclusive Waze integration.
Genesis PULSE features
Using Genesis PULSE™ with Waze integration, 911 call centers can easily pinpoint traffic events, such as construction, congestion or accidents. Using this data, dispatchers can send emergency units along faster routes, avoiding delays.
Today, Genesis is pleased to announce Genesis PULSE is launching a new in-vehicle mobile app with Waze integration. It provides first responders not only with current road conditions, but real-time, turn-by-turn navigation. All of the features of Waze and Genesis PULSE — combined in one powerful mobile interface.
Google’s amazing new self-driving cars may be the coming wave of the future, but sadly, they will not eliminate traffic issues. Fortunately, the Waze traffic app (owned by Google) is already on the front lines, fighting traffic one “Wazer” at a time. “Robots will still need to know the best route. We have a nice juicy role,” says Di-Ann Eisnor, vice president of platform and partnerships for Waze.
[October 6, 2015] Tyler, Texas — The Genesis Group today announced a data-sharing partnership with their emergency call center software, PULSE (http://genesispulse.com) and Waze (http://www.waze.com), the real-time crowdsourced navigation app powered by the world’s largest community of drivers. Designed as a two-way data share of traffic accidents, traffic congestion, and road closures, the Connected Citizens Program promotes greater efficiency, increased situational awareness for emergency personnel, deeper insights and safer roads for citizens in communities where the Genesis PULSE software is in use. This is the first integration worldwide for Waze into a public safety communications product.
The Genesis Group welcomes LifeNet EMS as our newest PULSE customer. LifeNet EMS operates air and ground services throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. LifeNet was in search of an all-in-one solution to supplement their computer-aided dispatch software and chose PULSE for its decision-support features for dispatch to the Replay and Reporting features for supervisory and administrative personnel.
Genesis is pleased to welcome Community Ambulance in Central Georgia as our newest PULSE customer. With their need for a decision-support tool in the communications center and the additional features provided by Replay and Reporting for after-action reviews, PULSE was their chosen solution.
Welcome Community Ambulance (formerly Mid Georgia Ambulance)!
We have added many exciting new features to Genesis PULSE in its latest release (v.4.0.5).
View Filtering allows for restricted access by role based on a custom layer/custom geofence being drawn. Custom Geofencing allows users to only see units operating within a custom geofence or units outside the geofence assigned to a call inside the geofence.
The Genesis PULSE solution will be on display at four upcoming shows:
PULSE is a major headliner at the Genesis booth at the 2015 International Wireless Expo and Convention, March 18-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Genesis booth #521 will be buzzing with activity as live demonstrations will be ongoing. PULSE Live displays unit and incident data on Google Maps™ to aid in efficiently dispatching units to avoid potential response penalties. PULSE Replay allows for supervisors and administrators to evaluate calls — from single-unit to system-wide — to verify the closest, most appropriate unit was assigned or diverted to a response. And PULSE Reporting provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and on-demand reports which deliver real-time feedback on the health of a system or individual contract areas. This allows for supervisors to make appropriate changes right away in service areas where compliance may be borderline.
