Champion EMS Service is a 501c3 non-profit, charitable organization which provides pre-hospital emergency care to 12 counties in the East Texas area. They have over 250 employees and 34 Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) ambulances – the highest level certified by the Texas Department of Health. In addition to emergency transport, Champion EMS provides transfer services for patients needing transportation from hospitals to convalescent, rehab or long-term nursing care facilities.
