Product Spotlight: Location & Time-Based Response Delay Zones

We are excited to announce this latest feature — Location & Time-Based Response Delay Zones. This will allow resources to be recommended to calls that may not have been recommended for in the past, based on their location and the delay to go enroute. PULSE Administrators can now draw custom layers on the map around a facility or station, select a range of time, specific unit statuses, and choose an approximate response delay for that unit. Multiple time blocks can be added per zone and each time block can have different response delay parameters.

Feature Use Case: Home Stations and Healthcare Facilities

Around a station where crews are allowed to sleep, you might add a custom layer and a time block between 2200-0600 and then assign a 2 minute & 30 second delay for units in the Available, Enroute to Post, and At Post statuses.

Around a healthcare facility, you might draw a Response Delay Zone to include any units in the At Destination / At Hospital status and add a 10-minute delay to ensure a unit is considered for a pending assignment.

Genesis Gives Back: Grace EmBEDded Bed Build

Genesis spent part of the Thanksgiving weekend supporting a Grace Embedded bed build at Green Acres Baptist Church. Through the efforts of many great people from the community, 200 new beds (double the number from last year) are on their way to foster children around East Texas. Genesis thanks everyone who helped make this dream a reality.
