Three Decades of Making a Difference: Genesis 30th Anniversary Recap

As our way of saying THANK YOU for allowing us to serve you over the past three decades, we held our 30th Anniversary Thank You Celebration on November 7th. We opened our doors to personally express our deepest gratitude to our customers, employees, families, and community partners for your support.

"I am overwhelmed at not only the turnout of friends for our event but also the personal notes of congratulations we have received. Thirty years ago we started a company concept that put customers and employees above profits, and we have maintained that model for 30 years. God has blessed that model. I am proud to say Genesis is alive, healthy and thriving as we look toward the next 30 years!" — Phil Burks, Genesis CEO

As a way of giving back, we packed activity bags for The Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County. Thank you to everyone who came out! Your support means everything to us.

What an amazing turnout from our community! Last week's Thanksgiving-Eve Bed Build with Grace Embedded at Green Acres Baptist Church was a great success. It was wonderful to see everyone hammering, sawing, gluing, stapling, sanding, and assembling beds for kids in hard places. We were grateful to lend our support to this worthy cause.

Did you know: Nearly 1 in 3 foster/kinship placements in Smith County, Texas are in need of a bed to sleep in. To find out how you can help, visit
